The Word Of God
We strive for real, down to earth Biblical teaching and preaching. We break scripture down into the original Hebrew and/or Greek whenever it helps us to understand His Word better. We won't preach at you. Instead, we'll learn together, encouraging and building each other up as the Bible teaches us to do (1 Thessalonians 5:11, Ephesians 4:29, Hebrews 10:24-25). Learning what God's Word has to say to us should be exciting and enlightening. It should help us deal with the stuff that life throws at us - and it will light our path, if we let it (Psalm 119:105).
As we dig into His Word, our goal is to learn something every week that will strengthen and encourage us and to help us navigate this life better. We should have a bold faith (Ephesians 3:12, Acts 4:31, Psalm 138:3). A faith that allows us to move a mountain (Matthew 17:20)!
Prayer
Prayer is just so important for our walk, and for our lives in general! The Bible teaches us that we should always be in a conversation with God (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), and that we can always approach our loving Father - boldly (Hebrews 4:16)! Prayer allows us to confess our sins and receive forgiveness; to develop a close, personal relationship with God; prayer helps us understand Him better - when we listen and not just talk; He promises to give spiritual blessings, such as grace, mercy, wisdom, peace, power and so much more - IF we ask; prayer is our direct line to God. He wants to have a conversation with YOU (Philippians 4:6, 1 John 5:14)!
